Drawing inspiration from Luis Barragàn’s pared-back aesthetic, the Syd Chair evokes the subtle balance of hard lines, weight and lightness characteristic of the celebrated Mexican architect’s work.
The Syd chair is of simple and archetypal construction, utilising white-oiled ash wood with a vegetable-tanned leather slung seat which will patina, age gracefully and get richer in colour over time. My objective as a designer, is to produce pieces that will improve with use, like a good pair of shoes where the marks bear a story.

ALTIN is a sculptural cutlery range with a distinct, but playful presence, ergonomic and pleasant in the hand.
The underside of the handles is beautifully curved to sit naturally in the hand, contrasting with the sharper edges of the top surface. The range is robust in form, well weighted and has a reassuring feel in the hand that feels purposeful, giving it a tactile quality.
The heads on the spoons and forks are characterful in form, giving the range a playfulness but also well-proportioned a nd a joy to eat with.
